# About Needlepoint Design Space

*Updated October 26, 2026*

Needlepoint Design Space is an independent reference to needlepoint canvases: who paints them, which stores list them, what they cost and whether they are in stock. As of October 26, 2026 it covers 31,729 canvases from 310 designers at 312 stores.

## What you will find

- A page for every canvas listed at one or more stores, with each store's price and stock and a link to the store's own listing.
- Pages for designers and stores, stores by state, and canvases by theme and mesh count.
- Weekly and monthly market reports and an annual State of Needlepoint, with dated figures.
- Guides with live figures, and the data itself as CSV and JSON files.

## What it is not

It is not a store and does not sell canvases. Every "View at store" link goes to the store's own listing, and prices and stock are what the store showed when it was last read.

## How it stays current

The data is refreshed once a day. A page's "Updated" date is the last day its data changed, so a page is never re-dated just to look fresh. The [methodology](https://ndlpt.space/methodology) explains every figure.

## Using the data

The data is free to reuse under CC BY 4.0; see the [license](https://ndlpt.space/license). Canvas images belong to their designers.
